Many people who are ahead of their time become celebrated as geniuses, visionaries and eccentrics long after they are gone. The opposite is true for me, I think I was born a couple of decades late.
If you thought I was being lazy, well, for once you’d be wrong. I haven’t given up on blogging and I certainly haven’t forgotten you. I did do a tiny bit of travel recently and I was a little unwell for a short while. But what I wanted to share is that I’ve been working on a few things which, as a by-product, am hoping will make for a better experience here on mGm. What have I been up to? . . . .
Following on from last week where I talked about taking a break from Banting so see what would eventuate, I am sharing my observations and results of the experiment. Thank you to all who commented on the post. I always enjoy reading about your experiences and am happy to answer any questions.
Grab a cuppa and settle down, this is a long post.
If you’ve been following machinegunmeow for some time, then you’ll know that I went low-carb some time ago. You can read about my experience here.
What I want to share today is a different side of the LCHF journey.
This morning, I read a lovely and (as usual) humorous post by Deb which gave her readers a glimpse of what goes on in the background before posts go up on her blog. Of course I thought it was a great idea and I have decided to replicate it here on mGm.
Let’s talk about this right now. It isn’t a new topic and I know it’s been discussed many many times before, but the problem hasn’t gone away. It’s 2016 and we are still making an issue out of something as trivial as skin colour. Judge me, if you must, on my merits and my actions. But the colour of my skin, really? Something I was born with and have no control over?
