“For darker tanned, olive and Asian complexions with golden yellow undertones” – if this is not a direct message to me from NARS, then I don’t know what is. I swatched this foundation in store, liked it, bought it and I’ve been using it for a few months now.
Time to review!
If you’ve read my post on the liquid version of this foundation, you’ll know I’m a fan. A couple of years ago, I was travelling a fair bit for work so I wanted a purse friendly version. A quick trip to Myer and I walked away with this baby. I’m nearing the end of the compact so this one is from the stash.
My eye sockets have a natural tendency to be dark. No matter how much I sleep, hydrate or religiously apply cucumber slices, without concealer, I look like I need more (I don’t actually do the last one but it illustrates the point). In fact, sometimes, even with concealer, I look exhausted because of the dark circles.
I am forever looking for a concealer that is not only the right shade (hello, difficult if you’re a person of colour) but is blendable and stays in place. I can’t deal with thick pastes that are like cold peanut butter being smeared on dry toast.
The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer has had rave reviews by nearly every blogger and their dog so natch, I had to give it a whirl.
Do you have a certain dress or perfume that’s your go to? You know, the one that will always fit, the one that will always get you compliments, the one that will turn heads? Well, I have a lipstick like that . . . .
