  1. Love that shade of lipstick. Suits you. I don’t wear make up but could be convinced to with the subtlety of what you’ve applied here. Serious eyebrow envy – mine are sparse and the colour is strangely light for my complexion. I think I’ll survive though haha

    1. Thanks Mek, I think it’s a universally flattering shade of lipstick.
And you are too kind re: my eyebrows. I have a think strip of hair missing on my brow from where I got stitches as a child. I try not to be conscious of it. But your comment made my day 😛
Brow pencils are a game changer if I could persuade you to give them a go?!

      1. You’re welcome! I didn’t even notice – lesson there that we notice our ‘imperfections’ more than others do. I have tried brow pencils, occasionally inspired by the POTENTIAL but I have given up. I have tried traditional pencil type, the type that is like a little pot of paint you apply with a brush and put some gunk on top to keep it all in place, and most recently- one that kinda looks like a mascara brush. I get too self conscious that I have rubbed some off inadvertently and look like an idiot. Plus- a recent realisation- my anxiety in some situations results in profuse brow sweat which leads to brow wiping and then makes me more anxious about the mess etc…If you can recommend a brand that can withstand all THAT- please do let me know 🙂

        1. You’re right, we are our own worst critics, Mek. And in that spirit, I am confident your eyebrow woes are not as hopeless as you seem to suggest 😉
I think a little wax followed by powder to fill and a swipe of brow gel should be effective. My favourite brand is Anastasia Beverly Hills. Having said this, and without wanting to come across as patronising, may I suggest patting and dabbing (vs rubbing) the brow area when you perspire? My upper lip and brow are the first to melt in the summer so I speak from personal experience when I say I have to resist the urge to swipe away beads of sweat.
All the best, Mek. I hope you will not allow yourself to be as self conscious and will enjoy your brows 🙂

          1. You are right- so much easier to spot when someone else is guilty of it. 🙂

What I referred to as ‘gunk’ in the earlier comment may have been the wax. But I’ve never done a wax, powder, gel combination. Not patronising at all, I definately wipe so no surprises at the outcome, but my sweaty brows know no seasons- it’s a year round phenomena. The self conscious and caring what others think is definately an area for more work though, brows or now brows. Thanks mGM 🙂
